Christ UMC is a formal Church Partner with Martin Methodist College's Cal Turner, Jr. Center for Church Leadership. This center provides opportunities for training for clergy and lay leaders in our congregation. Watch our website for announcements about training opportunities as they become available.

The Center is conducting a series of three weekend training sessions for lay church leaders. Click below to view a brochure that describes the sessions, location, and costs. ACADEMY FOR CONGREGATIONAL LEADERS BROCHURE

The Red Hawk Golf Classic will be held Tuesday, May 20 at the Hermitage Golf Course. The tournament raises funds for the athletics program at Martin Methodist College. It begins with a cook out lunch at noon and ends at 6:30 PM. CUMC is a church partner with Martin Methodist.

The entry fee is $150 per person. Please contact Lloyd Kelley by May 12 if you would like to play.
