Habitat for Humanity Ministry

Since 1995, Christ United Methodist Church has been active in the Habitat for Humanity mission of providing families’ a “hand up” out of poverty through home ownership. CUMC has supported this ministry through:
  • Donations – Communion Rail Offering 1st Sunday of Every September
  • Fundraising – Strawberry Festival and Others Planned in the Future
  • Volunteers – Build and Provide Food, Snacks and Drinks
Beginning in 2008, CUMC has partnered with the Habitat for Humanity, Williamson County to provide $15,000/year for four (4) years (2008 – 2011) to build homes. This is a commitment that provides much needed affordable houses to our neighbors.

Throughout the year, there are opportunities for you to support the Habitat for Humanity Ministry at CUMC – donating, fundraising and volunteering. If you want to find out more about how you can participate, please contact Mary Ann or John Szabo (794-1619 maszabo@bellsouth.net).
