Adult Ministries

The purpose of our adult ministries at Christ United Methodist Church is to help adults of all ages become disciples of Jesus Christ. This is a process, a faith journey. We want to be present for adults in the various stages of the life journey.

 

For young adults, we provide Bible study and fellowship events to support this time of life. Many young adults are oriented toward careers and the beginning of marriage and family life. We recognize that young adults may be single or married, with children or without children. So we seek to provide opportunities for all young adults to grow in their faith.

 

Middle age adults are sending children off to college or becoming empty nesters. Many are still active in careers or pursuing new adventures of career life or retirement. We know that some middle age adults are single or do not have children. We provide opportunities for middle age adults to experience God's love in an affirming environment.

 

Senior adults are a growing part of our population in Williamson County. Many senior adults are moving to Williamson County from other states and areas. We welcome our senior adults with open arms. We appreciate their wisdom and stories of faith. We seek to link our senior adults with our children, youth, and other adults for intergenerational learning and fellowship. Our senior adults will find many activities and opportunities for spiritual growth.

 

Adults of all ages bring experiences and faith journeys that we value. Our many ministries for adults help them to form leadership skills and allow them opportunities to use their God-given gifts in ministry.
