Senior AdultsRelationships with God and with each other are important throughout our lives. As we mature in age and in life experiences, those relationships become even more crucial. Christ United Methodist Church offers a specific ministry for people who are 65-years and older. Of course, we welcome any adult, regardless of age, to participate.

Adopt-A-Grandparent Program
The Adopt-a-Grandparent ministry links children and youth with adults for friendship. Each year the children and adults indicate their interest in our program by signing up and suggesting whom they would like to adopt. The program begins in February. Children and adults are linked for one year. At the end of the year, participants decide whether they wish to continue in the program or make a change in the person(s) they have adopted. The Children’s Ministry team plans several special events throughout the year to promote this intergenerational program.
To learn more about the Adopt-A-Grandparent program call the church office. |
