Young Couples

Fellowship, Bible studies, and discipleship events are planned for young couples so that they can grow in their faith, as a couple and as individuals. Whether you are a young couple who is newly married, a young couple without children, or a young couple with children, opportunities await you for friendship and the deepening of your spiritual journey.

 

Sunday School class designed for Young Couples:

 

Circle of Faith - Young adult couples, some with small children, are a part of this class. Persons are in 20's and 30's. Some of the couples are newly married, while several have babies and pre-school children. The Circle of Faith class meets in room 108.

Other programs offered for young couples:

Softball Team - Each year the church sponsors a co-ed softball team. While the team is open to anyone over 18 years of age, this is an ideal fellowship event for young couples. The church plays in the Williamson County Parks and Recreation League. The coach is Tom Beadles. Sign-ups are taken during March of each year.

All Church Retreat - During the fall, the entire church goes on a retreat. There are activities for all ages. This is ideal for young couples to get away for some relaxation and get to know other church members.

Workshops - Once a year Christ United Methodist partners with the Pastoral Counseling Center to provide quality workshops. Topics have included parenting skills, marriage enrichment, discipline of children, and parenting children with Attention Deficit Disorder. There is no cost for the workshops and child care is provided.
