Ministries

Our United Methodist church recognizes that each person is called by God to be a minister. While some persons are called out of the laity for ordained ministry, each person, by virtue of his or her baptism, is to be in ministry. God has given each individual gifts and graces for ministry. Our church affirms this call of God on each person's life and recognizes the unique gifts persons in our congregation have been blessed with.

 

There are many forms of ministry at Christ United Methodist Church. The laity leads our ministries with the ordained ministers providing guidance and resources. These various ministries not only recognize the gifts of our laity, but also provide means for the laity to use their gifts and develop leadership skills. These ministries also help the laity connect the church with the world.
