About ChristUM.net

The Christ United Methodist Church website (www.ChristUM.net) was developed using a user-centered design process. The user-centered design process provides that the user’s needs guide each stage of design, rather than technology. The design process was managed by a team of church volunteers who conducted countless face-to-face interviews with members and groups. Details Communications, a faith-based design firm in Birmingham, AL, was hired to create the visual design for the website. All content was produced by church staff and volunteers. 

 

 

This site is built using the E-Zekiel content management system. With more than 7,000 customers in 18 countries, E-Zekiel enables churches and other ministries to create professional-looking websites without technical expertise. E-Zekiel plays well with Mac and Windows, the wildly popular Firefox, Netscape and Internet Explorer. E-Zekiel is the preferred website development tool of The United Methodist Church.

 

 

Key staff and lay leaders have access to the content management system and make daily content updates on the site. If you identify a needed site modification or would like to contribute in some way, please contact us by e-mail.
